TIME TO REMEMBER

WW1 left a remarkable turning point in Liverpool city’s development. A significant number of both civilians and soldiers’ life were taken away in such incident. Number of them did not even have graves but listed on River Mersey as a main memorial to be missed. Apart from it, a 'Remember Trail' was suggested by Liverpool city council to embrace this unforgettable gratitude. Our remembrance remained as those poppies on the memorial by passing through in between Liverpool historical buildings from St. George Hall to Albert Dock. Memories are the spiritual needs for us because they are the only things don't change even when people do. Therefore they shouldn't be fade out over time, I believed that a city should be embraced remembrance as in both depth and emotional way in order to thinking about the adversities we are facing at present and how we will react upon the courage shown by soldiers in the war, at the same time evaluate the mistakes made in the past. Memories should not be limited by the space, it should be an experience for future generation to interact with the past. By walking, thinking and interacting all of the memorials through my targeting historical journey, people will get a unique experience to understand the city development, also a personal answer to be remembered.
